Voltage Stability Monitoring Tools (VSMT) is based on the main idea of the research team, which is focused on the development of a method for detecting voltage instability in Electricity Transmission Systems (ETS). Given the unprecedented integration of Renewable Energy Sources in modern ETS, the complexity of system operation is rapidly increasing and it is necessary to develop tools and methods that can automatically detect undesirable situations in the operation of systems, taking corrective actions with to prevent any blackouts. The idea can easily be implemented on an electronic board and integrated into relays (PCs) already installed in the system.

The purpose of VSMT is the further development and promotion of the idea and the implementation of it in a product that will be addressed to all electricity markets worldwide.
